Human Resources cell Note- November 2024 (Year 2024-2025)

Introduction:

Human resource is the most important factor for successful functioning of National Health Mission (NHM). In National Health Mission (NHM), Human Resource manages the healthcare infrastructure of the state and develops the capacity of available human resources.

Objectives:-

• To provide appropriate skilled human resources (manpower) to achieve a competent health system.
• To provide technical and non-technical manpower.
• To give priority for decentralized recruitment by appointing necessary posts.
• To prepare trained personnel for human resource management.
• To develop HRMIS software for human resource planning and quality improvement.

Recruitment Status:-

• For the recruitment of various vacant posts under National Health Mission, Maharashtra, the appointment of super specialist, specialist, medical officer is done through interview (direct interview) and apart from these posts, the appointment of all other posts is done on merit basis.

• Guidelines have been issued from the state level on 27.04.2023 & 03.07.2024 to all health institutions for the recruitment process.

Human Resource Financial status (Financial)

Under the central government, each fiscal year approves the implementation budget for the National Health Mission.

For FY 2024-25, the approved budget for HR in PIP 2024-25 is total of Rs. 35281.14 lakhs and Prioritization budget of Rs. 120513.16 lakhs ( (NHM,NUHM, 15th Finance, CHO) Up to 30 November 2024, 76 percentage expenditure has been incurred.
